Jag och Pearl bestämde idag att jag skulle sjunga på hennes bröllop. Inte för att hon har planer på att gifta sig, men det skulle vara en kul grej. "The total eclipse of the heart" är låten jag fått mig assignad och jag ska göra henne stolt. Jag ska göra det under middagen, för gör jag det under festen kan folk tro att jag bara gör det för att jag är full. Men jag gör det för att göra Pearl lycklig.
Pearl har fått samma uppgift, men vi har inte kommit på vilken låt hon ska sjunga. Hon vill inte sjunga "Sugar we're going down" by Fall out boy, så jag föreslog någon töntlåt av mina "sanna favoriter" Backstreetboys eller Kelly Clarkson. Men jag tror att jag kommer att tilldela henne någon Bon Jovi-låt.
Vi spann vidare på idén om att sjunga "The total eclipse of the heart", eftersom jag och Pearl inte har någon stoppknapp. Kommer vi på något tar vi allt tio steg längre än genomsnittsmänniskan. Jag ska spela in mig själv när jag sjunger "The total eclipse of the heart". Sedan kom jag på att jag inte vill köra a capella, så jag skulle leta upp en instrumental version av låten på Limewire. Fast jag hittade ingen så jag gick in på youtube och fann en karaokeversion. Så nu är jag good to go. Jag ska spela in en ljudfil och mejla Pearl för feedback. Jag tror vi har tagit det så långt det går. Fast vi kan egentligen alltid ta allt längre.

Today Pearl and I decided that I would sing at her wedding. Not that she is planning to get married, but it would be a funny thing to do. "The total eclipse of the heart" is the song I had assigned to myself and I will make her proud. I'll sing during the dinner, because if I do it during the party, people will think I'm only doing it because I'm drunk. But I'm not doing it because I'm drunk, I'm doing it to make Pearl happy.
Pearl got the same mission, but we haven't come up with which song she'll sing. She didn't want to sing "Sugar we're going down" by Fall out boy, so I suggested a song by my "true favourites" Backstreet boys or Kelly Clarkson.
We kept brainstorming about the idea of singing "The total eclipse of the heart", because Pearl and I do not have a stop button. If we come up with an idea we always take it ten steps further than the average person. I'll record myself when I sing "The total eclipse of the heart". Then I realised I don't want to do it a capella, so I tried to find an instrumental version of the song on Limewire. But I couldn't find one, so I went on youtube and found a karaoke version. So now I'm good to go. I'll record a sound file and then e-mail it to Pearl for feedback. I think we have taken it as far as it's possible. But actually we can always take everything further.
